Message From The Editor Busy Time of Year
The fall is always a busy time of year but this year feels even more hectic than usual. I didn’t get down to the NMEA Annual Conference this year, but I hear it was very good and a reflection of the many exciting developments in the marine electronics field. There certainly were a lot of new products at the IBEX Show held October 7, 8 and 9, 2025 in Tampa. Again, this week, Boating Industry Canada News Week Digest will continue to showcase those stories.
We are just proofing and finalizing the December 2025 issue of Canadian Boating magazine. It goes on press soon, as I am arriving in Fort Lauderdale for the 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. But then, in the morning of October 22, I got word that Charlie Bulmer had passed away. (READ MORE)

Charlie Bulmer July 13, 1932-October 22, 2025 On October 22, 2025, Charlie Bulmer passed away at South Lake Hospital, in Newmarket, Ontario. He is fondly remembered by his wife and best friend of 41 years, Christine and daughters Kelly, Kathy and Jenny as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Charlie was born in Toronto on July 13, 1932. He is predeceased by his parents, Currey and Florence Bulmer and sister Dorothy Watts. READ MORE |
